Trade your usual Singapore weekend for a mini adventure across the border. We’re heading into Johor to take on Gunung Arong — a short but rewarding jungle hike with steep climbs, rope-assisted sections and sweeping views over the South China Sea. The best part? This isn’t just an up-and-down summit hike. When weather and tides allow, we’ll traverse the mountain and descend towards the coast, swapping jungle trails for sea views and a beach finish. It’s a full little adventure packed into one day — and a great first taste of hiking beyond Singapore
